Getting Started with EBounce
Everything you need to know to set up and use EBounce.
1. Installing EBounce
- Visit the EBounce Chrome Web Store listing
- Click "Add to Chrome"
- A permissions prompt will appear — click "Add extension" to confirm
2. Pinning the Extension
After installing, EBounce may be hidden behind Chrome's extensions menu. To keep it visible:
- Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome's toolbar (top right)
- Find EBounce in the dropdown list
- Click the pin icon next to it
- The EBounce icon now appears permanently in your toolbar
3. Adding Your First Account
- Make sure you're logged into one of your Etsy shops
- Click the EBounce icon in your toolbar
- EBounce automatically detects your current Etsy session and saves it
4. Adding More Accounts
- Click the EBounce icon to open the popup
- Click "Add Another Account"
- You'll be taken to Etsy's sign-in page — log into your other shop
- Once logged in, EBounce saves the session automatically
- You'll now see both accounts listed in the popup
5. Switching Between Accounts
- Click the EBounce icon in your toolbar
- Click the account you want to switch to
- EBounce swaps the session and opens a fresh tab with your other shop
The currently active account is highlighted with a blue indicator and shows "Currently active".
6. Customizing Your Accounts
- Rename: Click the pencil icon next to an account to give it a custom name
- Photo: Click the avatar/profile picture to upload a custom image
Custom names and photos help you instantly tell your shops apart — especially useful if you manage 3 or more.
7. Multi-Tab Mode (Premium)
Multi-Tab Mode lets you run different shops in separate browser tabs at the same time.
- Click the arrow icon (↗) next to any account
- A new tab opens with that shop's session — completely isolated from your other tabs
- You can have multiple shops open simultaneously
Multi-Tab Mode is available as a premium add-on for $1.99/month. During your free trial, it's included at no cost so you can try it out.
8. Troubleshooting
Try closing the Etsy tab and switching again. EBounce opens a fresh tab to avoid cached sessions. If the problem persists, remove the account and re-add it.
Etsy sessions expire over time. If this happens, remove the account from EBounce and add it again by logging in fresh.
Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome's toolbar and pin EBounce. See step 2 above for detailed instructions.
Try disabling and re-enabling the extension in chrome://extensions. If that doesn't help, uninstall and reinstall from the Chrome Web Store — your accounts will need to be re-added.
