Getting Started with EBounce

Everything you need to know to set up and use EBounce.

1. Installing EBounce

  1. Visit the EBounce Chrome Web Store listing
  2. Click "Add to Chrome"
  3. A permissions prompt will appear — click "Add extension" to confirm
EBounce only requests permissions for etsy.com — it cannot access any other websites.

2. Pinning the Extension

After installing, EBounce may be hidden behind Chrome's extensions menu. To keep it visible:

  1. Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome's toolbar (top right)
  2. Find EBounce in the dropdown list
  3. Click the pin icon next to it
  4. The EBounce icon now appears permanently in your toolbar

3. Adding Your First Account

  1. Make sure you're logged into one of your Etsy shops
  2. Click the EBounce icon in your toolbar
  3. EBounce automatically detects your current Etsy session and saves it
If your account isn't detected automatically, click "Add Account" and log into your Etsy shop. EBounce will capture the session once you're signed in.

4. Adding More Accounts

  1. Click the EBounce icon to open the popup
  2. Click "Add Another Account"
  3. You'll be taken to Etsy's sign-in page — log into your other shop
  4. Once logged in, EBounce saves the session automatically
  5. You'll now see both accounts listed in the popup

5. Switching Between Accounts

  1. Click the EBounce icon in your toolbar
  2. Click the account you want to switch to
  3. EBounce swaps the session and opens a fresh tab with your other shop

The currently active account is highlighted with a blue indicator and shows "Currently active".

6. Customizing Your Accounts

Custom names and photos help you instantly tell your shops apart — especially useful if you manage 3 or more.

7. Colour Tags (Pro)

Assign a colour to each shop for instant visual recognition.

  1. Click the circle icon (●) next to any account
  2. Pick a colour from the palette, or click ✕ to remove the tag
  3. A coloured stripe appears on the left side of the account row
Colour tags are a great way to group shops — for example, orange for production shops, blue for test shops.

8. Custom Landing Pages (Pro)

Choose where you land every time you switch to a shop.

  1. Find the dropdown underneath each account name (it defaults to Dashboard)
  2. Change it to Orders, Listings, Messages, or Stats
  3. Next time you switch to that account, EBounce opens the page you chose

9. Drag to Reorder (Pro)

Arrange your shops in whatever order makes sense to you.

  1. Grab the drag handle (☰) on the left side of any account
  2. Drag the account up or down in the list
  3. Drop it in the new position — the order is saved automatically

10. Session Health Indicators (Pro)

A small dot next to each account's avatar shows whether the session is still valid.

11. Keyboard Shortcuts (Pro)

Switch shops without opening the popup at all.

Shortcuts follow the order of your account list. Use drag to reorder to control which account is Ctrl+1, Ctrl+2, etc.

12. Multi-Tab Mode (Pro)

Multi-Tab Mode lets you run different shops in separate browser tabs at the same time.

  1. Click the arrow icon (↗) next to any account
  2. A new tab opens with that shop's session — completely isolated from your other tabs
  3. You can have multiple shops open simultaneously

Multi-Tab Mode is included with the Pro plan ($4.99/month). During your free trial, all Pro features are included at no cost so you can try them out.

13. Troubleshooting

"My account isn't switching"

Try closing the Etsy tab and switching again. EBounce opens a fresh tab to avoid cached sessions. If the problem persists, remove the account and re-add it.

"I got logged out of an account"

Etsy sessions expire over time. If this happens, remove the account from EBounce and add it again by logging in fresh.

"I can't find the extension"

Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome's toolbar and pin EBounce. See step 2 above for detailed instructions.

"The extension stopped working after a Chrome update"

Try disabling and re-enabling the extension in chrome://extensions. If that doesn't help, uninstall and reinstall from the Chrome Web Store — your accounts will need to be re-added.
